You know that feeling, right?
A year or two ago, I'd have made sure my pictures were edited before plopping them on my blog.
I like pretty pictures.

Today I'm just tossing them up here, straight out of the camera. (sooc)
For those who've been emailing and asking, I looooove my new camera!

These days I'm having to focus more on priorities than ever before.
And that's a good thing.
So here is a little peek into my week.
Yes, I do have three kids, but one of them is home with me during the daytime so he pops up in pictures more than the others.
He's not my favorite.
Not today anyway. (My favorite kid changes daily, depending on who's doing their chores and being helpful. Is that terrible of me? I didn't think so.)

And while I'd love to stay and chat with you, it happens to be a stunningly beautiful day outside.
And I have three kids and a husband who are home.

So I'm off to enjoy them.
Because this phase of my life will have passed before I know it.
And I don't want to look back and see only great blog posts, intended for other people.

Happy weekend to you lovelies!

What kind of cake is that?
I'm hungry.
Editing? We don't need no stinkin' editing!
Yeah, the cake (carrot cake?) was looking really yummy, until I saw the worm pic LOL! Have a fun weekend with your family! The truck full of leaves looks super fun!!!
Great pics! Moments definitely worth remembering :) Thanks for sharing. I could totally benefit from at least 1 extra hour a day... 25 hr days sound GREAT to me :)

By the way....saw a post on Humble Pie's blog about being safe in the presence of God. She said that "I am
perfectly safe in Him" I thought "perfectly safe in Him" would be a great thing to put on one of your necklaces. Just a thought! Maybe I would purchase one for Lissa at Humble pie for Christmas.

i love this post!
I feel that way so often, Beki, like there is a legacy to leave behind. I'm jumping here in my mind...And I want so much to write well (on my blog or otherwise). I would love for that to be part of my legacy. And sometimes I think about the great leaders of the past (not because I consider myself to be anything remotely of the sort...but because we read about them in my daughter's history lessons) and the amazing things they accomplished (Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, things like that) but I always have the thought,"At what price?" Their monuments and great achievements have lasted to this day, but there were some major sacrifices in order for them to do the things they did. Many people gave up their lives, either in order to work, or literally died from the work, to accomplish the great things in the past.
And somehow I make the connection to my own silly little life...so what am I building? What am I leaving for my kids? A blog? While I think it's worthy (and it helps keep me sane), I also think that I have to remember what is most important; remember what not to sacrifice. Does that make sense? I am not doing so great in this area right now. That is what I thought of when I read your post. Thank you for this reminder. I hope you had a beautiful day with your family, and I hope you are enjoying your photography and jewelry work. I think you're neat. :) Sorry to be so wordy!
I love the "thankful" necklace.
This is a great post, Beki.
Hope you have a great weekend!

Wonderful Post
You are choosing the "right" thing when you choose your family time. It truly goes so quickly
My youngest (Twins) Turned 19 today... not sure how we got here:)
I love your last statement.
Fab photos without any editing!
Haha. After reading this, I'm kinda glad we only have one kid so far... when I say, "you're my favorite kid," I don't feel guilty about it. But we hope to have more, and someday I'll have to be more careful, I suppose. Lovely photos. :)
Beautiful family...great pics!
I love what you said about spending time with them and about how you don't want to go back and see great blog post intended for others....SO TRUE! I think about that a lot!
We used to sing "Hannah, Banana, you are my favorite girl." Then we got Sophie and Emeri too. So now I sing "...you are so precious to me". I just took Hannah and Sophie to the Athletic park and they loved that see saw you took a picture of your family on. They love it there and evidence in my car with lots of sand! What kind of camera did you get? I need a new one. I'm wondering what should I get?
Our first ministry is and will always be our home! Go girl for recognizing that!!!
Girl, I never edit...I don't know how. LOL
love the post!
Where do I get that Ho Ho Ho necklace? I didn't see it on Etsy. Love your blog!
So glad you are enjoing your new camera. This weekend made me so happy....just gorgeous! We spent the whole weekend outside.
Been trying to email and call you...you must be busy!
Great pics. Hope you enjoyed your beautiful day with your beautiful family:)

I am finding less and less time to blog.
To write my own.
To read others.
Someone at school just this morning commented on my posts getting too short!
These photos are really kickass, wow!! You're a natural!
Cake and worms in the same post. Hmmm. Love the necklaces!
